Behind The Scenes: Keep Going When Life Doesn’t Go To Plan.

Hello everyone,

Sorry for being inactive in this blog section for so long. I wanted to explain what has been going on with me behind the scenes so far this year.

For those of you who have caring responsibilities within your family, you will understand just how overwhelming it can be whilst trying to juggle your own mental and physical health on a daily basis as well as running a small business.

The things I had planned to do this year haven't come to fruition (not yet, anyway!), but I am not the type of person to quit when things go awry, so the little fighter in me keeps going. Rather than focusing on the negatives, I see it as a challenge and think of ways in which I can succeed despite my ever-changing circumstances.

I am currently focusing on trying to achieve things eventually, rather than setting a time limit or deadline for myself, as this only puts me under further pressure. I do find that I am exceptionally hard on myself, despite everything I have achieved in the few years that the business has been operational. I don't think many people could juggle everything I do and still keep going.

Entrepreneurship is not for the faint-hearted.

My perfectionist nature often leaves me hesitating and trying to perfect everything before presenting it. It is a tough habit to snap out of, but I need to change it as it hinders my path to greatness...

Perhaps I need to embrace progress over perfection and accept the fact that dreams can follow a different timeline to the one I had pictured.❤️
