Behind The Scenes: Keep Going When Life Doesn’t Go To Plan.

Hello everyone,

Sorry for being inactive in this blog section for so long. I wanted to explain what has been going on with me behind the scenes so far this year.

For those of you who have caring responsibilities within your family, you will understand just how overwhelming it can be whilst trying to juggle your own mental and physical health on a daily basis as well as running a small business.

The things I had planned to do this year haven't come to fruition (not yet, anyway!), but I am not the type of person to quit when things go awry, so the little fighter in me keeps going. Rather than focusing on the negatives, I see it as a challenge and think of ways in which I can succeed despite my ever-changing circumstances.

I am currently focusing on trying to achieve things eventually, rather than setting a time limit or deadline for myself, as this only puts me under further pressure. I do find that I am exceptionally hard on myself, despite everything I have achieved in the few years that the business has been operational. I don't think many people could juggle everything I do and still keep going.

Entrepreneurship is not for the faint-hearted.

My perfectionist nature often leaves me hesitating and trying to perfect everything before presenting it. It is a tough habit to snap out of, but I need to change it as it hinders my path to greatness...

Perhaps I need to embrace progress over perfection and accept the fact that dreams can follow a different timeline to the one I had pictured.❤️

We don't want to disclose much of what is on the horizon at Dare To Dazzzzle as we like to keep things under wraps until we are happy with what we are about to unveil but we can guarantee bigger and better things are on the way!

How I Improved My Website SEO, Speed and Visibility in 2025.

You will be glad to know that I have finally managed to update all of my website listings to be SEO friendly now - the titles are more concise, the images have been renamed, resized and compressed to make them a lot quicker to load which make the website a lot easier to navigate. There was a considerable lag before due to this, which is no longer present which is fantastic, I have also updated all of my YouTube listings to be fully optimised and I getting more exposure via AI platforms, as everything is now indexing correctly. This is all thanks to the fantastic skills I learned on a phenomenal six week digital marketing skills course I attended at Ascento. It is one of the most comprehensive courses that I have come across in all of my years in business and it helps small businesses elevate their marketing skills. I would highly recommend it for those of you who wish to gain experience in this field.

As you can appreciate, making these amendments has been a lengthy and arduous process but I figured if I can complete it in all in 2025, it will be less of a headache to take into 2026 as I enter a fresh new year! Even when I don't post anything here, I am still constantly brainstorming new ideas and updating the website along with conceiving new ideas for product launches, getting content ideas ready for YouTube etc.

Being an entrepreneur is a never-ending role where you are wearing many hats all the time whilst juggling many other of life's responsibilities. It is not something for the faint-hearted but I wouldn't change it for the world because I love Dare To Dazzzzle and the work that goes into it.

The next major hurdle for me is; getting back to creating a simple yet stunning template that I can use for my YouTube videos using Canva. I had originally started this process in November but as I had so many other things that needed to be done before then, I had to postpone the process but it will be my top priority going into 2026. I hope you can all join me on this journey!
